Yorkeys Knob liegt 15 Minuten nördlich von Cairns und dient als Sprungbrett zu zwei UNESCO-Welterbestätten: dem Great Barrier Reef und dem Daintree-Regenwald. Vom Kai aus starten Katamarane direkt zum Schnorcheln und Tauchen. Wer es gemächlicher mag, folgt dem Panoramadeck des Boat Club mit Blick auf die Half Moon Bay oder fährt mit dem Skyrail Rainforest Cableway durch das Blätterdach des Regenwalds.
