Lifou ist mit mehr als 1000 Quadratmetern das größte Atoll der südpazifischenInselgruppe der sogenannten Loyalitätsinseln. Mit ungefähr 10.000 Einwohnern, welche das Atoll in Häuptlingsbezirke aufgeteilt haben, ist die Besiedelung sehr überschaubar.

Das größtenteils spiegelglatte, blaue Wasser welche die scheinbar endlosen Strände umspült lädt ein zu ausgedehnten Strandspaziergängen oder Tauchgängen hinab in die faszinierende, bunte Unterwasserwelt des Südpazifik.

Lifou - der Hafen, die Stadt

Lifou ist mit mehr als 1000 Quadratmetern das größte Atoll der südpazifischenInselgruppe der sogenannten Loyalitätsinseln. Mit ungefähr 10.000 Einwohnern, welche das Atoll in Häuptlingsbezirke aufgeteilt haben, ist die Besiedelung sehr überschaubar.
